What to tell us

The surface

Stainless steel, plastic, glass, painted metal and fibreglass behave differently. Name the material, and note whether it is curved, flat or textured.

The type of water

A splash from a sink, a soak in pool water, salt spray and a hot wash cycle are very different situations. Be specific, because it shapes the recommendation.

The cleaning routine

Mention whether the item is wiped, scrubbed or put through a machine. If a sticker is not the right answer for that routine, the quote will say so.

Stickers or labels?
